Females built for the Long haul.

Briarwood females are moderate, efficient, functional and beautiful! They are milk making, easy calving cows built to last.

Briarwood Ruth 8125 AAA 16203220 is an SS Objective daughter out of Briarwood Ruth 6071. She produced the high selling lot at our 2017 sale as a 9 year old, and is also dam to one of our go-to herd sires New Frontier 3025. Her dam rendered sons and daughters that helped build our herd’s breadth and depth of quality.

This Briarwood Ruth 7027 daughter by 10X sold in 2018.

Briarwood Promise 1122 stays true to her name, promising high performance from start to finish. She calves easy then pours the milk and offers up EPDs for carcass to boot with MB and $G both ranking top 20%. Calves like this Jindra Double Vision bull are equipped to go the distance!

Decidedly Productive

Consistently Performing

Powerfully Predictable

From Show Heifers to Herd Building Females

Fertility, Longevity, Disposition & More

At Briarwood Angus Farms, we believe in cow families that go the distance for us and our customers. We produce females that are not just easy on the eye, they are productive. Briarwood females are milk making, easy calving cows built to last. We want them PREDICTABLE, PRODUCTIVE, and PROFITABLE.

Whether standing in the show ring or in the back pasture, from every angle, a Briarwood female needs to do her job efficiently and consistently. And do it well for many years.

Youth Heifer Prospects

We believe in breeding for attractive, docile heifers that can help young producers enjoy their show ring experience. But we won’t forsake functionality for fancy. A Briarwood youth heifer project is designed to be the type of female a young cattleman or woman can take home after show season and put to work building their herd.

Pathfinder Power

When all the pieces come together, it looks like this: Briarwood Ruth 8171, an Ankonian Elixir OP33 daughter, at 10, delivering yet another sire prospect! This Pathfinder female consistently produced superior calves that excelled year after year.
